Amble Marina is ideally located, giving easy onshore access to a host of Northumberland’s hot spots.

The “friendliest port” lies at the mouth of the River Coquet. Queen Street offers all of the shopping you could want to stock your boat and enjoy your break.

The town has experienced some exciting new developments in recent years including The Harbour Village. Located on the water front this charming development consists of retail ‘pods’ selling art, crafts, gifts, food and drink.

Amble boasts a number of excellent restaurants and cafes including: the award winning ice-cream makers Spurelli, the Old Boathouse a rustic bistro with stunning harbour views and the relaxed but stylish Jaspers serving exquisitely prepared local produce. As to be expected from a traditional seaside town you can also sample some of the best fish and chips in Northumberland.

There is plenty to do and see in and around the town such as surfing, kayaking, a swimming pool and gym, outdoor play areas, an indoor soft play, birdwatching, walks and cycle routes.
